The Full Story
About
Hi, I’m Amber, an illustrator who turned a lifelong struggle with body image and an eating disorder into a creative path toward healing.

For over 20 years, I believed that being more "perfect" would bring happiness. But even when I reached my physical goals, I still felt disconnected and unhappy. With the support of therapy, I began to rewrite that story—and that started with a food diary. But instead of writing, I picked up my pen and started to draw. I began doodling my meals, thoughts, and feelings.
Over time, these little illustrations became joyful, quirky food characters—each one a small act of self-acceptance. They helped me laugh again, reconnect with food, and build a kinder relationship with my body.

Now, I create playful, handmade illustrations inspired by food and mental health recovery. Every piece is designed to uplift, comfort, and help others feel seen—whether you're healing from an eating disorder or simply navigating the ups and downs of life. My mission is to turn everyday art into a gentle reminder: healing can be colourful, imperfect, and even a little silly—and you are always worthy of joy.

Mission
I create joyful, food-inspired illustrations that help people struggling with eating disorders and mental health challenges feel seen, comforted, and celebrated. Through quirky, handmade artwork and affirming messages, I offer a gentle reminder that healing doesn’t have to be heavy—and that self-acceptance is something to smile about.
Vision
To build a world where art becomes a safe, joyful space for people to reconnect with themselves—especially those navigating body image, recovery, or emotional healing. Through playful, food-inspired illustrations, I hope to spark self-compassion, encourage honest conversations, and remind people that healing can be gentle, bright, and even a little bit silly.
